30 year Limited Substrate Warranty:

Subject to all terms, conditions, and exclusions of the MWF Solutions Manufacturer’s Limited Product Warranty document, the Company warrants to the original Purchaser that the G90 hot-dipped galvanized steel Substrate of each Product (in the galvanization grade ordered by the Purchaser) will not perforate due to corrosion resulting from a Defect in materials or workmanship for thirty (30) years from the Date of Delivery, under Normal Use and Environmental Conditions appropriate to the galvanization grade selected.

Industry reference data: Hot-dipped galvanized steel is recognized by industry technical references, including published service-life data of the American Galvanizers Association, for extended corrosion resistance, and heavier galvanization grades provide proportionally greater zinc coverage. These references are provided as general industry background only. They are not an independent warranty, guarantee, or representation of the service life of any particular Product in any particular installation environment, and the Company’s warranty obligation is defined solely by the express terms of this document. Surface oxidation, isolated rust specks, or aesthetic weathering occurring within the warranty period does not constitute perforation and is not a covered Defect.

10 year Limited Coating Warranty:

Subject to all terms, conditions, and exclusions of this Limited Warranty, and subject to the maintenance conditions in Section 2.3, the Company warrants to the original Purchaser that the  UV primer coat as applied at the factory will not peel, flake, crack, or blister due to a Defect in materials or workmanship for ten (10) years from the Date of Delivery, under Normal Use and Environmental Conditions.

Maintenance Conditions:

The ten (10)-year coating warranty is conditioned on the maintenance requirements in the Manufacurer’s Limited Product Warranty document. Except for the bright-line conditions stated in the next paragraph, failure to perform a maintenance requirement excludes coverage only to the extent the failure caused or materially contributed to the claimed condition.

Bright-line conditions. Coating warranty coverage at an affected location is void if (a) no initial Topcoat meeting the Topcoat Performance Specification was applied at installation; (b) a Field Cut was not sealed in accordance with the three-step procedure in Section 4.3; or (c) the Topcoat was not reapplied within the applicable recoat interval stated in Warranty document. For these three conditions, causation is inherent and coverage at the affected location is excluded.

Accelerated-Degradation Environment Recoat Interval. For installations in environments subject to accelerated coating degradation—including, but not limited to, marine environments; locations within one hundred feet (100') of swimming pools or spas; areas exposed to chlorine; areas exposed to reclaimed or recycled water; and locations subject to regular contact with irrigation or sprinkler water—the Topcoat must be reapplied at least once every year from the date of the prior application. In addition, the Purchaser shall promptly remove, upon discovery, any tar, grease, pitch, bird droppings, tree sap, salt water or salt spray residue, chlorine or swimming pool/spa water residue, acid rain residue, industrial fallout, road salt, or other corrosive, staining, or etching substance from any Product surface. Contaminants shall be removed using mild soap and water or another cleaning method approved in the Company’s maintenance guidelines.

Implied Warranties:

Implied warranties, if any, are not disclaimed. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the duration of any implied warranty is limited to the shortest period permitted by applicable law. For consumer goods sold at retail in California, implied warranties are coextensive in duration with the express warranty but in no event less than sixty (60) days nor more than one (1) year following the sale of new consumer goods to a retail buyer, in accordance with California Civil Code § 1791.1(c). Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitation may not apply to you.
